Absolutely not!\u00a0 This is a good reason to prepare for the highest level and then allow God to show you where He wants you.\u00a0 Everyone has gifts and a direction in life where they feel most comfortable. In seeking this direction you may decide in your Junior year to take concurrent classes at your local Jr. College.\u00a0 They could be your general ed classes, business classes or vocational directed classes or you could be looking at online classes instead of attending a campus.\u00a0 These classes can be found at almost all colleges or online programs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"text-align-center\">Let&#8217;s take a look at some examples of opportunities<br \/>after graduation!<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>MILITARY:\u00a0 Our students apply and are accepted by every branch of the military but if you want to make it an easier transition, take up to 15 credits at your local Jr. College.\u00a0 Make these classes enrich the position you would like to apply for in the military.\u00a0 If you decide to follow through you will be prepared and if you change your mind you have a step up towards another direction.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"text-align-center\">The above picture is an ACA graduate!<\/h2>\n<ul id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1744313838156_380\">\n<li>\n<p>VOCATIONAL SCHOOL: Enrolling into the ROP (Regional Occupational Program) if it is available, is a wonderful opportunity to test the waters in the vocation of your choice.\u00a0 (Contact the High School Director if you do not have an ROP program in your area).\u00a0 Taking a vocational course of interest at your local Jr. College is a great option especially if you are not looking to go onto a university.\u00a0 This will enable you to start your career path.\u00a0 If you decide to go further in your college education, this vocation could be a financial asset.\u00a0\u00a0 Check with the vocational program you are interested in as some programs require homeschoolers to take the GED before enrollment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>JR. COLLEGE\/UNIVERSITY:\u00a0 The benefits of a Jr. College are great.\u00a0 The US\/CSU campuses are working with the Jr. Colleges to make your education affordable.\u00a0 Almost all Jr. Colleges have transferable classes to the UC\/CSU systems and that means the the private colleges, too.\u00a0 Transferring from a Jr. College in two years and enrolling in a university as a Junior is the norm now.\u00a0 The tuition is less and you can stay at home or closer to home and save even more.\u00a0 If you apply to a university, make sure your SAT\/ACT scores meet their requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>JR. COLLEGE\/CERTIFICATE PROGRAM:\u00a0 Some examples of Certificated Programs available at the Jr. Colleges are listed below.\u00a0 There are many more and I am sure the Jr College in your area will have similar opportunities.\u00a0 To find them put \u201ccertificate programs\u201d in the search bar of the campus website near you that you are interested in.\n<ul>\n<li>Equine Science<\/li>\n<li>Water\/Waste Water Treatment<\/li>\n<li>Accounting Clerk\/Bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Web Design<\/li>\n<li>Early Childhood Education<\/li>\n<li>Music<\/li>\n<li>Nurse Aid\/Home Health Aide<\/li>\n<li>Culinary Arts<\/li>\n<li>Automotive Technology<\/li>\n<li>Construction Technology<\/li>\n<li>Diesel Technology<\/li>\n<li>Welding<\/li>\n<li>Firefighter 1 and 2\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>INTERNSHIPS:\u00a0 Google &#8220;Internships&#8221; in your area and see what comes up.\u00a0 Many companies are investing in students that show promise in their company and are looking at employment after college.\u00a0 Some are summer internships and include 11th -12th grades through college.<\/li>\n<li id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1744313838156_379\">\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1744313838156_378\">APPRENTICESHIP: A Registered Apprenticeship program is a great way to train for a career. You can earn a paycheck and get hands-on experience while building up your skills. Visit the Office of Apprenticeship to learn more.
