Staying on track is a challenge. Emails are sent out to remind students of important dates to accomplish the necessary paperwork for college. 11th and 12th grade students, please make sure we have your correct email address and watch your emails for scholarship information and important dates and directions. By now you should have checked out the website of the college of your choice to confirm that you have reached the required classes for enrollment.<\/p>\n

SAT\/ACT<\/strong>: Taking the SAT or ACT at the end of the 11th grade and again in the beginning of the 12th grade is important in order to qualify for Cal Grant and other scholarships. It is also of benefit to applying to universities and the option of qualifying for the valedictorian or salutatorian position at ACA, which also may lead to additional scholarships through the college of choice. These scores must be submitted to the main office by January 15th to be considered for these positions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Valedictorian & Salutatorian<\/strong>:\u00a0 Our valedictorian and salutatorian positions are based on SAT, ACT or CLT scores.\u00a0 All scores must meet certain score levels in order to qualify.\u00a0 The top students are given the position of representing the entire program and attending the Redding graduation.\u00a0 Other positions are given for top scores in each county.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FAFSA<\/strong>: Start by Oct 1st and obtain a pin for the student and parent; submit by March 2nd.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n GPA Verification Form<\/strong>: This form must also be submitted before March 2nd. Parents and students will fill out their part of the form and attach a copy of the SAT or ACT score to confirm their education. You do NOT need a signature from the office to confirm the GPA.
